Yoshiko Kusano lives and works as a freelance photographer in Bern. She is interested in people, likes to immerse herself in unknown worlds and enjoys theatre. She has been a freelance photographer with a wide range of interests since 2007: her work is characterised by portraits and reportage photography for agencies, print media, cultural and non-profit institutions, annual reports, but also her own projects such as the photo book ‘Bordelle’ (Brothels) published in 2015.
In collaboration with the Bern-based agency Atelier Pol, I developed the photographer’s new minimalist website. Optimised for all screen sizes and with a focus on typography, the website is deliberately kept simple and the focus is on the photography. With the CMS WordPress, the photographer can manage and expand the content independently.
