Vienna’s district museums are living places of the city’s history. They tell stories about the past and present of Vienna’s 23 districts – from the beginnings of human settlement to current topics. As knowledge hubs, they are the first port of call for questions about the history of the districts and, as cultural centres, the venue for a wide range of events.
In collaboration with the Salzburg design studio Wir sind Artisten, I developed the new website for Vienna’s district museums. All museums have their own access to the backend and can thus manage their content and exhibitions independently. Additional content is edited via components and templates in WordPress.
