Vreni Spieser, born in Zug, lives and works in Zurich. She studied art and design, including at the Zurich University of the Arts. Various stays abroad and artist residencies have also taken her to Ghana, Halle (Saale), Paris, Buenos Aires, the Philippines and Japan. The Zug-based artist, who works both locally and internationally, is active in the fields of installation, performance and community art.
In collaboration with Atlas Studio, I developed the artist’s new portfolio website. Her work can be experienced on 2 levels, so to speak. On the one hand, there are behind-the-scenes shots of her work and travels in the background, and a list of her works in the foreground. With the use of blur effects, the layers can now be faded in and out. The interplay of image, blur and text creates an interesting and constantly changing interplay of colour and content.
