Theatre Marie has a special function within the Swiss theatre scene: a theatre that produces independently in the clearly structured cultural landscape of Aargau and then travels all over Switzerland, and occasionally abroad, thus always bringing input back home and staying alive. Theatre Marie examines current social issues that find expression in contemporary author’s theatre as well as in participatory research formats.

In collaboration with the Aarau office a+o, I developed the theatre’s new website. The central design element is the squeeze effect of the main title, which changes its squeeze based on the coordinates of the scroll. The core of the content is the agenda with all projects, current and archived, which the theatre manages independently via WordPress.
