SWICA is one of the leading health and accident insurers in Switzerland with around 1.5 million insured persons and 27,000 corporate customers.
In collaboration with the Zurich agency Hej, I was once again able to realise SWICA’s digital annual report. This year, the focus was on the services that SWICA provides for its customers 24/7. The likeable CEO Reto Dahinden uses audio commentaries to explain the current status and future plans on topics such as chatbots and billing apps.
The wonderful illustrations are by Bern-based illustrator Christoph Frei, aka Chragokyberneticks. We used Lottie, an open-source technology developed by Airbnb, to breathe life into the likeable, illustrated characters. The programming of the complex financial report tables, which should also be optimally displayed on mobile devices, was also challenging.
