Burgdorf Castle, majestically situated above the town of Burgdorf in the canton of Bern, is an important historical landmark in Switzerland. The imposing medieval castle dates back to the 12th century and once served as the seat of the Zähringer and later the Bernese bailiffs. Today, the castle houses a multifaceted cultural centre with an interactive museum, a restaurant and a youth hostel.
In collaboration with Kargo, I developed the new website for the new cultural centre. The different areas are differentiated by colour, there is a reservation tool, integrated translation tools and multilingualism, as well as an interface to Youthhostels. Based on WordPress, the customer can manage all content independently.
