Maxwell Detroit was launched as part of Empowerment Plan, a non-profit organisation that provides jobs for homeless people to make sleeping bag coats for those in need. At its core, Maxwell Detroit is about more than just a coat. It’s about closing the revolving door of homelessness and creating sustainable jobs for those struggling against systemic poverty.

In collaboration with New York agency Sagmeister & Walsh, I developed the customised online shop for Maxwell Detroit. Working closely with the graphic designer, I programmed the components that play with the interplay of colours and shapes.
