The HKB-Zeitung is dedicated entirely to culture and is published four times a year and is editorially independent. The first part of the magazine focuses on a specific topic, while the second part takes a look behind the scenes at Bern University of the Arts (HKB).
I developed the digital version of the newspaper in collaboration with the HKB studio, the university’s in-house graphics studio. We worked closely together to define templates and components to give the editorial team the flexibility they needed to create the articles. Covers can also be displayed with picture in picture or picture in video. There is an intelligent display of similar articles, as well as an extensive archive with filter and search functions. The website is based on WordPress and is managed independently by the editorial team.
