The Gurtenfestival takes place every July on Bern’s local mountain and has been one of Switzerland’s most beloved open-airs since 1983. For four days, international headliners and Swiss acts play everything from pop to hip-hop to Swiss-German mundart, and from the meadows you can look out over the city to the Alps. Its relaxed atmosphere and focus on sustainability give it a character all its own.

In collaboration with Salzmann Gertsch and Studio Voile, I redeveloped the website this year with a new color palette and new animations. The site has also been extended with a live feature that shows the current acts in the timetable, used by the festival’s roughly 100,000 visitors.
