Gurtenfestival is one of Switzerland’s most important open-air music festivals and takes place every July on Bern’s local mountain, the Gurten. Since its first edition in 1977, the festival has evolved from a small folk event into a major music happening that attracts visitors from both Switzerland and abroad. Featuring a mix of international top acts and emerging Swiss artists, the Gurtenfestival offers a diverse musical lineup spanning genres such as rock, pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. In addition to its music program, the festival is known for its unique location overlooking Bern and the Alps, as well as for its relaxed atmosphere. For many music lovers, attending the Gurtenfestival is an essential part of summer.

In collaboration with Salzmann Gertsch and Studio Voile, I had the opportunity to expand the website this year with new features and enhance it with updated colors and effects. In Night Mode, users can discover artists, create their own “My Lineup,” and access live features during the festival.
