026. Echtzeit Verlag (2016)
Shop in Kollaboration mit
Müller+Hess.
The new website and ERP for Echtzeit Verlag was created in collaboration with Müller+Hess in Basel. Echtzeit was founded in 2007 by the two art directors Wendelin Hess and Beat Müller together with the journalist Markus Schneider. Today, over seventy titles are available throughout the German-speaking book trade and online.
My task was to completely reprogram the 10-year-old ERP system, optimise the business processes in line with the client’s experience and digitise many manual tasks. The result was a customised ERP for managing books, authors and contacts, as well as for automatically generating royalty statements and booking sales. At the front end, I developed an equally customised online shop that lets you discover the books as if they were on a bookshelf and that works intuitively and in a minimalist way. From a technical point of view, the Laravel framework provides the basis, the front end was created with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
