130. Centre Albert Anker (2024)
Website in Kollaboration mit
Atelier Pol.

Albert Anker (1831-1910) is considered one of the most important Swiss painters of the 19th century. He is often referred to as the ‘national painter of Switzerland’, as his works depict the rural life, culture and people of his homeland in a detailed and sensitive manner. The Centre Albert Anker, where Anker worked and lived throughout his life, is a museum dedicated to his work. The centre is located in his former home and studio, which has been preserved in its original state. Visitors can admire original works, learn more about his life and gain an insight into the artist’s creative process.

In collaboration with Atelier Pol, I developed the museum’s new website. The website has a lot of white space and subtle micro-animations. Based on WordPress, the client can manage all content themselves and there are different components available to manage content.
