The Aargauer Kunsthaus is a Swiss art museum in Aarau. Its large collection of Swiss art from the 18th century to the present day and its nationally and internationally oriented exhibition programme make it one of the most important art museums. The Aargauer Kunsthaus is funded by the Canton of Aargau and the Aargauischer Kunstverein.

I developed the new Kunsthaus website in collaboration with Atlas Studio. Around 15 components and 8 templates are available to content editors in the WordPress backend in order to be able to use content as easily and flexibly as possible. An interface to the museum software M+ synchronises the data with the website and generates a customised experience in the online catalogue. All works in the collection can also be flexibly integrated into the exhibition, agenda and content pages. The site is also bilingual and important ideas, input and testing were provided by the inclusion project group to make the website as accessible as possible.
