Burning Mountain is a Goa festival that takes place every summer in the Engadine mountains and to which we have been making an annual pilgrimage for several years to celebrate the driving beats and art installations.

During my trip to Paris, I visited the Fondation Louis Vuitton. The building was constructed by Frank Gehry and is unsurpassed in terms of radiance and steel strength.
This week I’m moving my workplace to Hendaye in France. I’m adapting my working hours to the tides, so I’m mostly surfing in the early hours of the morning and in the evening. I code through the day with a view of the ocean.

The magic behind these animations is a natural phenomenon called the golden angle, which governs the spacing of leaves, petals, and branches on many growing plants.
Some time ago I stumbled across the Canvas Experiments by Toshiya Marukubo , which I wanted to try out in this little script.
This simulation created by Amanda Ghassaei solves the Navier-Stokes equations for incompressible fluids. The fluid visualization includes thousands of Lagrangian particles that follow the velocity field and leave behind semi-transparent trails as they move. All computation happens in several GPU fragment shaders for real-time performance.
